These are separate programs, and there is no cost to search for or claim funds or property that belong to you. Use the information below to determine where to search and how to submit a claim.
State of Florida Unclaimed Property
The State of Florida's Bureau of Unclaimed Property holds unclaimed property that may include money, stocks or safe deposit box contents.

Manatee County Tax Collector Unclaimed Funds
The Manatee County Tax Collector holds unclaimed funds from property tax and motor vehicle transaction refunds that have not been claimed.
Review the [Unclaimed Funds List]([LINK TO UNCLAIMED FUNDS LIST]) to see if you may be entitled to submit a claim.
If you believe funds on the list belong to you, submit the Unclaimed Funds Request Form to initiate a claim. A member of our team will be in touch with you within 10 business days.
Important: Claims must be received by December 31. After this date, unclaimed funds may be transferred to the State of Florida's unclaimed property program in accordance with applicable laws.
