While some platforms have agreements with the Florida Department of Revenue to collect and remit the state's 6% sales tax and the 1% Manatee County surtax, Manatee County does not have agreements with any third-party platforms for Tourist Tax collection. Therefore, it is the property owner’s responsibility to collect and remit the 6% Tourist Tax to the Manatee County Tax Collector.
